This review is from experience I had in Pottery Barn Kids, Calgary Canada. Had to deal with assistant manager of the store who doesn't seem to know what CUSTOMER SERVICE is!
I bought a bed for my child and got the wrong color in one of the two boxes. First I was offered to bring it back to the store, then after explaining to the lady on the phone that its not my mistake and I wouldn't waste time driving through the whole city to exchange boxes, I was offered the UPS service. With all the time wasted with shipping label sent to the wrong mail (or not sent), then making me phone UPS, as the store COULDN'T arrange, I end up finding out I would wait for at least a week to get the right box. So I end up driving myself.
And in the store I just heard excuses how store is not responsible for UPS and no acknowledgement of my time and cost which I save on UPS to the store. This reasoning is pathetic and not what I expect from Pottery Barn!
